Turn 8 - Buttonwillow [6-18-21] - [2:10:660]
One of the hottest days to go to the track. We had hit 111º F in Buttonwillow. I had installed a new oil cooler on the car to try to keep temps down but unfortunately that did not help that much at all. We had done 4 laps and the car had overheated and gone into limp mode. Fortunately we did beat out PB on the final lap out. with 2:10:660 beating our last PB by 5 seconds. This is the first track I've ever revisited so makes sense of improvement but didn't expect this much. We will be visiting again for the 3rd time in hopes to improve even more in somewhat cooler conditions.
