A while ago, I posted a tutorial about replacing the MIA Simple Exposure lens shader that Maya automatically connects to the Physical Sun and Sky, with the much better MIA Exposure Photographic shader, with David Johnsons ( DJX blog) elegant script to automatically make the change, but in this tutorial we will examine how to manually connect this shader from scratch in case you don't have the script installed. There's several numerical changes you must make to the RGB values of the Physical Sky node in order to invoke the magical powers of the MIA Exposure Photographic node. So, it's time to get rid of the Simple Node and this tutorial by Stuart Christensen will show you how!!!
