Lake Tahoe Winter!!
Hi Everyone!
Come along with us on a trip to South Lake Tahoe where we try snow boarding for the first time in Heavenly Mountain, gaze at the scenic views, and of course enjoy the fresh snow.
We went just a day after a snow storm so the snow was fresh, we recommend if possible going on a week day as it is less crowded and traffic was no big deal compared to the weekend, a lot of people spent hours in traffic commuting to and from the Bay Area.
Get your snow chains ahead of time from your local Auto Zone, Walmart, Petboys etc, as they can be pricey the closer you get to the mountains.
We rented our gear for snowboarding at the Powder House on Rainbow Ave
They have half day deals and full day deals. The shop is just two miles away from the Heavenly Ski Resort.
