If this is true, then Unity Runtime Fees are actually... fine?

At the very least we can all agree that Unity has one of the worst PRs in the world, huh.

But, in all seriousness, what am I missing here on this unity runtime fee debate? From the way it stands, it looks like this unity runtime fee thing will only affect people already selling their games for more than $5, which would make it cheaper than Unreal, in comparison.

And, don't get me wrong, I love Godot, but as of today it's not comparable to Unity in terms of ecosystem and feature richness. So... what do you think?
