Hello those that are reading the description.
On May 3rd, our NBN lead-in cable had died which disconnected our household from the internet until yesterday (May 22nd) when contractors replaced the cable that was covered by the broadband monopoly itself. It resulted in me using up all of my mobile data supplied by Telstra for $35 (15GB), which further lead to leaving my friends for two weeks. It could've been longer.
This goes to show that Australia is not digital ready. Not everyone wants a digital currency, nor a digital bank (im looking at you Westpac and Bankwest). Not everyone wants to even put licenses and passports digitally as well (Digital ID) since its prone to security breaches like what we saw in 2022 with Optus and Medibank and other stupid conspiracies such as social credits. Systems like the NBN can suffer from outages as well (also demonstrated by Optus in 2023).
The next lineup of videos are those I pre-recorded since I had no clue when the NBN would be back up and running.
I'm glad to be back, and I don't recommend losing internet at the cost of NBN's hardware.
Thank You and Goodnight.
