We share with you our recommended activities in Queenstown before heading down south to Invercargill, which is the southernmost city in NZ. We did not have much time here as the weather was not great so we made our way further down to Bluff to have a taste of the oysters.

The oysters grown there are considered one of the best in the world due to its unique fresh meaty taste. Oyster season starts from March to August (winter season) and is quite famous that tickets sell out straight away.

We also took some photos at Sterling Point, an iconic signpost in Bluff and where SH1 ends. After that, we made a short walk to Sterling Point Lighthouse which is considered as one of the ten most photographed lighthouses in New Zealand.

From Bluff, we decided to to visit another lighthouse (Waipapa Point Lighthouse) and ticked another lighthouse off our bucket list.

Have you tasted Bluff Oysters and what was it like? Let us know down below!
