Malcolm X predicts his own death
Author Alex Haley, speaking at UCLA in 1973, recalls Malcolm X’s fear that he wouldn’t live to see the publication of “The Autobiography of Malcolm X.” Malcolm was shot to death less than two weeks after he and Haley finished the manuscript in early 1965.
