So lets start with the basics - Combo chart is the short form of combination chart and it can be a combination of either two column charts and two line graphs, or a column chart and a line graph. we can make a combo chart with a single dataset or with two datasets that share a common string field.
As you can see in the chart The value of each bar and the trend of the line can be symbolized as a count of features in each category on the x-axis, or as a number or rate/ratio field. If a field is used, the values can be calculated as a sum, minimum, maximum, average, percentile, or median of values from the field for each category.
Combo charts can answer questions about your data, such as: What are the trends for the same categories?
So one of the major question is that might come to your mind is what is the use of the combo chart.
Combination charts let you display different types of data in different ways on the same chart. You may display columns, lines, areas, and steps all on the same combination chart. Use them to visually highlight the differences between different sets of data.
Combination charts are a good choice if you want to make a chart with a study that shows data in a different way than the main chart.
