Here’s something I like to occasionally do; run one of my tools against a packet capture to see how it behaves in the wire, does it have a signature in the packet and the features work as explained?
The point of the video is to practice packet capture techniques and analysis. I had no doubt that Wireshark and http-ping would have different response time values.
In this video I compare the http-ping response times to what was on the wire.
