What is Assemble-by-Light?
Assemble-by-light is a relatively new solution for assembly that enables a system-supported and paperless assembly process as part of Industry 4.0. The Assemble-by-Light system guides the worker intuitively through the individual work steps of parts removal using light signals. Different process variants can be implemented using different colors and numbers of LEDs. Feedback is provided directly at the removal compartment using touch sensors.
