Marvelous mayfly - a micro documentary
This Mayfly Nymph is a real hero of freshwater ecosystems, carrying nutrients from the sediment out of the water for birds and other animals to consume and distribute the nutrients further in the environment. These are the creatures that interveave aquatic ecosystems with the rest of the natural world.
