Even A Hero (2021 Lockdown Edition)
There are some truly amazing people on this planet, and during COVID, the people who stand out the most to me have been essential workers. I wrote "Even A Hero" during New Zealand's first level 4 lockdown back in 2020. This song was initially inspired by essential workers and branched out to recognise EVERYONE is a hero to somebody else. It felt right to bring this song back with a new version for our 2021 level 4 lockdown because, once again, our essential workers have been fantastic and deserve our appreciation. They've been our heroes, and now it's time for us to return the favour because even a hero needs a hero.
