Budget Cuts (Oculus Rift) Playthrough: Basically Portal VR [1/6]
This video covers the intro, the cubicle, and the level that introduces the supervisors. And the very first supervisor kills me. I'm great at stealth.
I am 110% a n00b when it comes to playing and recording VR footage, but Budget Cuts is just SO DANG GOOD that I couldn't help myself (I'm even playing it semi-blind, and I hate longplaying games without knowing exactly what to do). The last games to make me feel as immersed and intrigued and in genuine awe/wonder as this one does were the Portal games. The game has this wonderful sense of humor, but it's also friggin terrifying. Absolutely love the designs and voice acting on the robots. And you have to explore to really get the lore of the world, just like the vintage Valve games. So glad I chose this as my first ever VR game to play. You did good, Neat Corporation, and you better make a sequel or two. :-)
