The different type of shadow and their definition

REFLECTED LIGHT:
Reflection is when light bounces off an object. If the surface is smooth and shiny, like glass, water or polished metal, the light will reflect

MAIN SHADOW:
A shadow is a dark shape on a surface that is made when something stands between a light and the surface.

SHADOW CORE:
The core shadow is the dark band visible where light and shadow meet. It is the point at which light can no longer reach the form to illuminate it. It is the darkest area of the shadow on the sphere

HALFTONE SHADOW:
Most simply understood, the halftones are part of the illuminated side of an object neither in the highlight or in the shadow.

LIGHT:
It is the light area on the object, the natural texture of it

HIGHLIGHT:
A specular highlight is the bright spot of light that appears on shiny objects when illuminated

CAST SHADOW:
A cast shadow is what we generally think of as shadow. It is when an object blocks the light and casts a shadow, such as a tree in the light and the shadow on the ground. The cast shadow is a darker shadow

ACCENT SHADOW:
Accent shadow make the sphere more prominent or noticeable

That's all, correct me if i am wrong!
