In 2010, Albert Paley decided it was time to move to a bigger studio space. Although there were sound reasons for the decision, it is still difficult to leave the space that you designed and fabricated in for over 25 years. Albert contacted the Rochester Institute of Technology and invited photography students unprecedented access to his studio space. The students were allowed access during work hours and off hours. They were allowed to photograph the space, the work, and the staff for a period of 10 weeks. They were given only one task: To Capture the Soul of the Studio.
A portion of the photographs captured by the students and professors are shown in this video.
