Making a jumping paper frog is a fun and easy craft project that you can do at home. Here are the steps to make a jumping paper frog:
Materials:
A square piece of paper (any size will work, but 6-inch by 6-inch paper is a good size to start with)
Scissors (optional)
Instructions:
1. Start with a square piece of paper. Fold it in half diagonally to create a triangle shape.
2. Fold the triangle in half again to create a smaller triangle.
3. Unfold the paper to reveal the creases.
4. Take one corner of the paper and fold it towards the center crease. Do the same with the other corner.
5. Fold the top of the paper down to create a small triangle shape.
6. Fold the paper in half vertically so that the folded edge is on the left and the open edges are on the right.
7. Fold the bottom of the paper up towards the top of the paper. Crease well.
8. Unfold the bottom of the paper slightly and fold the two corners of the paper up towards the center crease. Crease well.
9. Fold the paper in half horizontally, so that the folded edge is on the bottom and the open edges are on the top.
10. Hold the paper at the bottom and gently push down on the center of the folded area. The frog should jump!
11. If you want, you can also add eyes to your jumping paper frog by drawing them on with a marker or glueing on googly eyes. Have fun making your jumping paper frog!
