Christchurch's Virtual Rebuild using a Trimble MX8
Trimble helps with the efforts to rebuild Christchurch after the 6.3 magnitude earthquake in 2011. With the use of an MX8 mobile imaging and laser scanning system, three-dimensional models and photos of the city were made available to local officials shortly after the quake.
