Tommy Rawson: Create Your Own Deep House Chord Samples
Last night we joined Watford, UK based electronic music producer Tommy Rawson aka Adam Cook and he shared heaps of knowledge with us regarding generating chords, chord progressions and even creating your own bespoke samples.
This was a really interesting session as it wasn't just focused on one subject and Adam shared several really interesting techniques including a way of isolating vocals from a track if you want to do an unofficial remix and several options for creating your own chord sequences. He also played us some unreleased Jungle tracks and gave plenty of insights into his production process.
In this clip, Adam shows us how he layers samples together and then resamples to create his own bespoke deep house chords. And they sound great.
