UPDATED How to take apart a DJI Phantom 3 remote properly - Remote won't turn on - hard reset
Unplugging the battery and replugging it in seems to fix a lot of people's issues where the remote won't turn on. This is known as a "Hard Reset" (I would say that's what she said but idk if that works...). ANYWAYS give that at your own risk and be sure to follow all the steps to avoid breaking anything.
A potential battery replacement could be found below. NOTE I HAVE NOT TESTED THIS NOR HAVE NO CONFIRMATION THIS WILL WORK FOR SURE. The specs and images appear to all line up though:
