im never gonna finish this video (READ DESC!!)
i started working on this PMV (picture music video) a while ago. it is of a D&D character i played; however, the campaign that he is in has been discontinued recently. i also haven't worked on this in a couple of months, so the art is very outdated.
maybe one day i'll finish it, but for now, it'll remain in this state. i didn't want my work to be for nothing, though, which is why i'm posting this (very) incomplete version :)

Vinova, upon learning that his husband, Nils, has perished, descends into a state of madness. He seeks out the infamous lich-god Vecna in order to learn the truth of Nils' passing. The two strike a deal: Vecna will tell him the truth and summon Nils back from the dead if Vinova completes a series of assassinations in Vecna's name. Vinova's left hand is corrupted in the process.
He learns through this deal that Nils was killed in a duel caused by his own brother's stupidity. Vinova seeks out his brother, Taethan, and ends up murdering him. Encompassed by guilt and rage, Vinova flees to the outskirts of the Celestial Plane to mourn, where he is eventually found by the royal guards. His sentence is death. However, at the last moment, Vecna smites Vinova with a streak of black lightning, transporting him to the Core Realm.
There, he begins his bounty work for Vecna. His depression and doubts grow stronger every day. Eventually, he meets the fellow party members of this campaign. He is hinted to by Vecna to stay close to these people due to one of them being his next target.
On one of the group's first nights together, Vinova has a nightmare. He's stuck in an unfamiliar world, the only form of life being a tall humanoid-like mountain structure. He looks down at his hands, only to find that they were instead replaced by Nils hands. The dirt beneath him then begins to suck him down, almost as if he were being forced down into a grave. Vinova reflects on him and his husband's memories together.
