Harvesting Sod | McKellip Sod Farm | Nampa Idaho
In this Video I visit McKellip Sod Farm in Nampa Idaho. During my visit they were cutting and loading sod in the field. They have two sod harvesting machines and today they are running their TreBro Auto Stack II sod harvester.
After the sod is cut from the field they come in and deep rip the field then disk and pack it. I did get some footage of them disking a field. After the field is disked the land level the field and re-seed it back to grass for another cutting of sod.
This farm also grows grows mint. They were harvesting (chopping) mint while I was here and I will have a future video of that in the future.
