Indoor Studio: Three RedSpy systems provided precise camera tracking.
Outdoor Studio: A follower mocap system enabled markerless tracking.
Both studios used our StypeLand plugin with Unreal Engine for stunning real-time graphics. The outdoor studio featured an XR LED floor from ROE Visual, handling day-to-night transitions seamlessly and creating a unique “Berlin museum” vibe inspired by the Brandenburg Gate.
This innovative setup was a first for the BBC, integrating LED, tracking, graphics, and XR technology flawlessly.
