Sylvester Stallone is an American actor, director, screenwriter, and producer. He rose to fame in the late 1970s with his iconic role as Rocky Balboa, the boxer, in the Rocky franchise. He is also known for his roles in the Rambo series, and Cop Land, as well as his collaborations with director Robert Rodriguez in Spy Kids 3-D and The Expendables. Stallone has received much critical acclaim, having been nominated for three Academy Awards and winning the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor.
