Paul Anthony Ramirez (aka Grimm) is a rapper from Houston, TX, and a pioneer for the Mexican Rap scene there, he was born on Feb 28 alongside his equality influential twin brother Shadow Ramirez (legendary producer as well)
Grimm grew up loving Rock 'N Roll, so when they where in their teens - early 20s Shadow was already learning how to produce, & wanted a rapper he could work for, so he tried over and over to convince Grimm to rap, but he wouldn't budge, until randomly Shadow found & heard a tape where Grimm was rapping, later on the line they hooked up with Filero from Freeport, and they started creating music, in 1994 they released Grimms debut album, "Makin' A Matter Worst" alongside the SouthEast Latin Sector, the album did well for the time, being one of the first Mexican rap albums to be put up on the shelves, which would lay the foundation, and let every Mexican know that they can also succeed in the city.
later Grimm would join "Aggravated" alongside Filero, Lil' Villain, Lord Loco, and Slinkey, in '95 they released their album, "Aggravated" which feature the hit, "I Am Your Future" a chilling story about a child being raised by a single teenage-mother, and growing up in the streets, the song featured Klondike Kat in the hook (Grimm was also part of the South Park Coalition early on), and the song did so well to the point even DJ Screw himself made a "Screwed" version of it.
Grimm would later leave Aggravated, and join "The Most Hated" in '97, and they released their self titled album (which has SPM's first ever feature on track 6), and 2 more albums, "No Rest for The Real" in '98, and "Most Hated Malitia" in 2012.
Grimm would later leave (again) a year or 2 later to get signed under Dope House Records (SPM's label) they've both been friends since kids, so it was surprising to Grimm when he heard SPM rap for the first time (SPM was influenced by Grimm and his success.)
The entire time this was happening Shadow had been working on Grimm's "The Brown Recluse Album" from 1994 to 2003, Grimm wouldn't release a solo album until '03.
Grimm would later on join The Lone Star Ridaz (under DHR) alongside SPM, Baby Bash, Happy Perez, Low G, Rasheed, and many more, and they released 3 albums, "Wanted" in '01, and "40 Days/40 Nightz" in '02 and they would have a unreleased album titled, "Rules & Regulations"
Grimm didn't release another solo, he mostly did features at his time at Dope House, he later left Lone Star Ridaz after it disbanded naturally due to SPM's incarceration.
Grimm would later release his 3rd solo album, "Sucker Punch" under Multi Power entertainment,
Grimm would later join Da Stooie Bros in '06, alongside Baby Bash & Angel Dusk, they released 2 albums, "Do It Movin' U Beezy!" in '06, and "Slap Yo'Self" in '08.
Now Grimm runs a show on Instagram (and YouTube) with his brother Shadow titled, "The Grimm & Shadow show" where they interview various people, from comedians to rappers to actors to their friends, reminiscing.
