Alumni Spotlight: Johnny Farris
For New Paltz High School Class of 2023 graduate Johnny Farris, who attended the Ulster BOCES Career & Technical Center's two-year Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) program, the ‘hands-on, project-based training he received was a perfect fit to prepare him for his future. His interest in the coursework—and his instructor John Henrickson—inspired him to succeed, and landed him an HVAC technician position at Woodland Pond (a senior living community in New Paltz) the day he graduated.
