Take C11H as an example here. The steps to connect the dome camera to the DVR are as follows:
First of all, please ensure everything is connected properly on your DVR.
Connect the cable’s RS485 port to the dome camera’s RS485 port.
Connect the cable’s BNC port to the dome camera’s BNC port.
Connect the cable’s DC port to the dome camera’s DC port.
Connect the cable’s DC port to power supply.
Connect the cable’s BNC port to the DVR.
Connect the cable’s BNC port to the DVR’s RS485 port. And please note the place of anode and cathode.
The dome camera will automatically rotate and detect after it is powered on.
Click [Main Menu]-[Advanced]-[Device Info.] to enable the PTZ function.
Click [Main Menu]-[System]-[PTZ Config] to set the PTZ function.
1. Select the channel into which the camera is inserted;
2. Select the protocol;
3. Enter the baud rate;
4. The configuration of the right RS485 device should be as same as the left PTZ device.
5. Please refer to the user manual for the details on PTZ configuration.
Double click the channel where you have connected the dome camera.
Click [PTZ Control] to perform PTZ control.
Now you can control the dome camera by controlling the direction.
