Darko Rajakovic issued a strongly-worded message to the NBA. He made the subject the Lakers foul discrepancy, but the punchline was clear; get Scottie Barnes to the free throw line and to the All-Star game.

The message was as much to the NBA as it was to his own team. He has their back. And he's willing to fight hard for them, go to bat for them, and occasionally will snap out of and break from his mr. nice guy persona of happy-go-lucky coffee-drunk lunatic who preaches smiling and having fun, and break some heads.
Darko Rajakovic, a native of Cacak, Serbia comes from a tough town, a tough country, and has taken an unprecedented road to become a head coach. He didn't do it by smiling. Positivity doesn't mean he's not willing to swear and deliver a message, and as far as messages go, Darko's was timely, on-point, and exactly what his team needed.
