Gift for Master | Short Comic Animation
A gift from the heart should mean something… but what happens when the recipient refuses to show how much they appreciate it? A devoted fox maid presents their master with a small but thoughtful gift—a watch. Not an extravagant one, not something overly fancy, just a simple token of appreciation. And yet, instead of gratitude, they're met with cold indifference. A dismissive glance, a careless remark. It stings, even if they try to hide it.
But behind that harsh exterior, something else is happening. The master may scoff, but the watch remains on his wrist. He does care, though he'd never admit it. Perhaps it's pride, or maybe he's just too stubborn to say "thank you." Either way, his avoidance speaks volumes, even if he refuses to.
Meanwhile, the fox maid, unaware of the hidden appreciation, wrestles with their own emotions. He chooses to drown them out at the bar, brooding over a drink—or in this case, seven glasses of water. Why does he have to be like this? Why can't he just say he likes it? But some people—especially those wrapped in layers of pride—have their own ways of showing gratitude. And sometimes, it’s not about the words they say but the small, unspoken choices they make.
