In the darkness of the night, the two shooters knew they were facing a sniper.
They moved slowly and stealthily to spy on the sniper.
In the morning, they saw a puff of cigarette smoke in the distance. The person in the hole was likely a German scout.
The soldier then ordered his comrade to shoot the scout. While he set a trap using an old can.
Meanwhile, the Soviet troops tasked with provoking a commotion began their action.
Sure enough, the German scout, hearing the gunshot, came out of hiding.
However, his comrade, who was watching the hole, was too timid to fire. His shot missed, and his position was immediately revealed to the enemy.
The scout then reported to his sniper that an enemy sniper was present.
