The film Days of Glory, or 'Indigenes' in French, is about the French Colony in Africa during World War II. They invited troops from Tunisia, Algeria, and Morocco to join and liberate a homeland they had never seen: France, which was being colonized by Nazi Germany. This film also serves as a sign of respect for all Franco-African soldiers and their humanitarian attitude. In particular, the discrimination against French soldiers and their government after the war refused to pay salaries and pensions to Franco-African soldiers, even though they had fought to defend France from Nazi colonialism.
