about this ep:
i made those songs a few months ago when i was quite obsessed with john frusciante's album "to record only water for ten days". something about the production really spoke to me at that moment so i wanted to make something in a similiar vein. so i consciously limited myself to direct input guitars & acoustic guitars, drum machine samples and 80s style synths, all mixed in a relatively lo-fi / saturated way. personally i think the record i ended up making doesn't even sound all too much like frusciante's TROWFTD (i still took some creative freedom on most of the things), but still the idea of TROWFTD was carried through the whole creative process. hence it is that all the titles are (more or less obvious) references to that praticular album.
