MT4 is the world's most popular professional trading platform and can be downloaded for free here: https://go.currency.com/visit/?bta=36...

In this video, we introduce the MetaTrader 4 platform to those unfamiliar with it.

In the video, we demonstrate how to select an asset to trade from the list of available assets and illustrate the terminal's capabilities, which provide access to a vast array of additional sources and tools (indicators, robots, signals, guides, expert advisors, etc.).

Deeping ever more practical, we'll see how the order window opens, where you can place a long or short position. We'll also explain the elements that make up the order window, including volume, stop loss, and take profit.

We'll explain all the main menu items and buttons on the MetaTrader 4 display. We'll also provide a practical example of opening and closing a position on EURUSD.

Regarding pending orders, we'll refer you to the next video, but for now, let's review the difference between the four pending orders available in MetaTrader 4.

Let's start with Stop Orders.

Buy Stop: This order is used to instruct the broker to buy at a specific price, above the current price. This order is executed if prices rise and reach the set Buy Stop level.
Sell Stop: This order is used to instruct the broker to sell (i.e., open a short position) at a specific price, below the current price. This order is executed if prices fall and reach the set Sell Stop level.

Now let's look at Limit Orders.

Buy Limit: This order is used to instruct the broker to buy at a price below the current price. This order is executed if the price drops and reaches the set Buy Limit level.
Sell Limit: This order is used to instruct the broker to sell (i.e., open a short position) at a specific price, above the current price. This order is executed if the price rises and reaches the set Sell Limit level.
