I have a look at Frostbite 2 from AudioThing that I got free with a Plugin Boutique purchase. You can currently get this direct from AudioThing for only €19 or £16.

I created a track using Black Octopus Sounds samples and put Frostbite 2 on each track, there is a before and after demo plus the final track. As I mentioned this is particularly good for applying to vocal shots and phrases.
