How to grow your Cherimoya - first fruit from seed!! in FLORIDA Sep 2, 2024 
I talk about how I grew it and was able to make it make flowers earlier. Now she has a beautiful fruit that I cross pollinated with Atemoya that was five day old pollen. The same night an hour later I realized I had a few flowers of custard apple making pollen. Pollinated with this also.
This tree did push out flowers earlier in the year, but I didn’t have luck. It pushed out of flower just one around July 24 and this is my Cherimoya.
I made a little structure around it so I can protect it in the winter.
Native to South America Cherimoya has a strong sweet flavor. Mark Twain was a fan of the fruit said it was the most delicious fruit known to man.
Some taste like mix of pineapple, strawberry and banana pudding can taste like a blend of pineapple and pear with hints of mango.
I’m not sure what variety I had from seed.
I bought the fruit from a market near me.
