Issy Alps 50K
Decided to have a go at the Issy Alps 50k - in preparation for taking another go at the Issy Alps 100 miler in May. The forecast was 33% chance of rain and I saw a 100% of that in rain and snow up high. I somehow had a foolish idea I could finish in 12 hours - the snow slowed me down and it took me just over 16.5 hours. Gorgeous day in the mountains, grateful for the opportunity and ability to carry myself through them.
