Round 1 : chain 2, make 12 dc in the loop. Close loop by pulling the tail, slip stitch
Round 2 : chain 2, 2 dc in every stitch. Slip stitch (24 sts)
Round 3 : chain 2, * 2 dc, 2 dc in next stitch *, repeat * to * 8x. Slip stitch (32 sts)
Round 4 : chain 2, * 3 dc, 2 dc in next stitch *, repeat * to * 8x. Slip stitch (40 sts)
Round 5 : chain 2, * 3 dc, 2 dc in next stitch *, repeat * to * 10x. Slip stitch (50 sts)
Round 6 : chain 2, * 4 dc, 2 dc in next stitch *, repeat * to * 10x. Slip stitch (60 sts)
Round 7-12 : chain 2, 60 dc. Slip stitch

Chain 1 and cut yarn
Skip 22 stitches from the 1st earflap to make the 2nd earflap, repeat same pattern.
Crochet beanie border : single crochet on earflap, half double crochet on frnot and back of beanie.

Round 2 : chain 1, 2 hdc in every st, slip stitch. (28 sts)
Round 3 : chain 1, 28 hdc, slip stitch.
White
Make magic loop / ring
Round 1 : chain 1, 12 hdc, pull tail to close hole, slip stitch
Round 2 : chain 1, 2 hdc in every st, slip stitch. (24 sts)
Sew the button on white eye and glue to green eye.
Sew the eyes on 3rd and 4th round
