The very first release on Greensleeves, the major U.K. reggae record label after Trojan. This is the "b side" of "War" but in my humble opinion is a far superior track. A sonic dubwise musical masterpiece in fact. Produced by Joseph Hoo Kim and with backing by The Revolutionaries this is a searing, trance-like mantra with power and majesty.
Dating from 1978, this is the Wailing Souls at their rootical best, with the ever present Winston "Pipe" Matthews and Lloyd "Bread" MacDonald at the helm.
Absolutely stunning.
