Linux is Crap for Music Production!
Is Linux crap for music production? That depends on what you want to do with it. The best OS, just like the best DAW, depends entirely on you. For me, Linux wins. I was happy on MacOS for years before they though. My experience of Windows as an OS for music is very limited, but it mostly frustrates the hell out of me. Routing audio all around a Linux system is by far the most flexible of all of them, once you've managed to get it set up. Not everyone has the patience to do it though. Many Linux musicians tend to be creative thinkers and I love that. If Windows works for you, that's fine too. Just enjoy making music. These things are only tools of the trade.
