TWDB Chairwoman Brooke Paup on the 2024 State Flood Plan
Brooke Paup - Chairwoman, Texas Water Development Board: "Well, most people equate Texas with drought, but floods have caused an enormous amount of damage throughout the state. The legislature saw the loss of people and property in 2017 and tasked the small but mighty TWDB to address flood mitigation in our great state of Texas. The goals of the first statewide flood plan are simple, but absolutely critical to save lives and property."
