How to Disable On-Prem Directory Sync to Microsoft Entra ID 🌐 | Step-by-Step Guide

In this video, I'll be guiding you step-by-step on how to disable your on-premises directory synchronization 🌐👋. If your company is moving to the cloud ☁️ and you’re no longer syncing from your on-prem Active Directory to Microsoft Entra ID, this video is just for you! 🌟
We will disable/disable Azure Active Directory Connect. This is the same as Disable/Disable Entra Active Directory Connect.
All the commands will be in the description below 👇, so you can easily follow along. When we're done, all your Entra objects will be cloud-managed 🌐🎯.

2️⃣ Set-ADSyncScheduler -SyncCycleEnabled $false
3️⃣ Get-ADSyncScheduler | ft SyncCycleEnabled
4️⃣ Install-Module Microsoft.Graph -Force
5️⃣ Connect-MgGraph -Scopes "Organization.ReadWrite.All"
