How To Do ELIMINATION COMMUNICAITON WHILE FLYING AND TRAVELING.
How to do elimination communication while flying and traveling. This is how we do EC while flying. I explain with 6 tips for pottying our infant and a toddler. We have flown many times with both kids starting at 3 months old and we have been practicing infant pottying while traveling.
We do EC whenever and wherever we are. Especially, if I can tell that my baby needs to pee and is waiting for a pottytunity. You only need to make a few adjustments when it comes to traveling and flying with our kids to make pottying in public more comfortable.
Tips
Bring a potty that works for them.
Offer potty right before you leave for the airport. Offer upon arrival at the airport. Offer while waiting at the gate. Lastly, is to offer whenever you feel that a diaper change may be in order on the flight.
Be creative and flexible by holding them over the sink or toilet. We provide an option for our toddler to sit on the big/regular toilet or use the potty insert.
Communicate with your kids so they know what to expect.
Be comfortable and confident in doing EC in the public.
