Unofficial Yamaha Ténéré 900
The Yamaha Tenere 700 is arguably one of the best motorcycles available in the adventure segment today. The bigger sister "Super Tenere 1200" was discontinued years ago and has not yet been replaced. To ensure the high quality, Yamaha will take some time to bring something that follows the success of the Tenere 700. We are excited and already dreaming of the new Super Tenere. What are your expectations?
Some of you may think that 195 kg is an unrealistic weight for a Bike with a 24 liter tank. It is possible as Kove proves with her 2023 800 Super Adventure, which weighs only 183 kg with a 22 liter tank. Already 30 years ago Aprilia built a 600 "Pegaso" which weighed only 172 kg with 10.5 liters. With a 24 liter tank it would weigh 186 kg. Pol Terres version of his Tenere 700 is 172 kg.
