In this lab, you'll learn how to set up a secure and automated backup system between Ubuntu servers. We'll begin by establishing secure communication using SSH keys, allowing us to perform data transfers without compromising security. Next, we'll implement encryption for our backups using GPG, ensuring the confidentiality of our sensitive data. We'll use the Duplicity tool to create full and incremental backups, ensuring the integrity of our files. Additionally, we'll automate the backup process using a Bash script, scheduling daily and weekly backups for continuous data protection. With these steps, we'll build a robust and reliable backup system that will allow us to efficiently protect and recover our data in the event of loss or damage.
