In this exercise, you will learn how to deploy Mailcow, a self-hosted email suite. We will begin by downloading the Mailcow package and configuring the docker-compose.yml file, which defines the various necessary services, such as Postfix, Dovecot, SOGo, and MariaDB. We will configure volumes to ensure data persistence and networks to enable communication between containers. After deploying Mailcow with docker-compose, we will access the web administration panel to complete the initial setup, create domains, and manage email accounts. This exercise will provide experience in deploying a robust, self-managed email solution with Docker Compose, suitable for production environments.
