AAO HUZUR TUMKO ( KISMAT ) INSTRUMENTAL ON HARMONICA
I believe this songs stands out as one of the best compositions of O P Nayyar sahab and thinking about the old recording techniques available during those days ( there was no track recording) one wonders in awe how Asha ji must have sang those lines with a 'sharabi' flavor and with all that laughing and hick ups in between. Truly incredible !!!
Playing this melody on harmonica was difficult, I must admit. I have left out the initial 'aalap' and have made many mistakes but was reluctant to rerecord due to 'laziness' perhaps. Today upon repeated insistence of my wife, I am sharing this with all my friends hoping that they would not dislike it very much
