Altair 8800C build: Running Kill The Bit
Progress on my Altair 8800C build: My front panel, front panel interface, and CPU board are all solid. Paired with some RAM, I was able to key in a classic game and have it run properly.
The most difficult part of the build was - of all things - getting the jumper wires ran on the CPU board. Ambiguous print on the CPU board lead me to omit one by accident, and confuse two others for one long run. Getting the switches mounted properly on the front panel PCB was nerve wracking, but fairly predictable - those wires had me stumped for months, though.
