The Mystery of the Church
What do you think of when you hear the word 'church'? A building? An institution? This is a common thought, and most can't be blamed for this idea, because so often the Church is shown only in this light. But in reality, the Church is a great mystery, a sacrament, and a fundamental reality in the mystery of our salvation. St. Teresa of Avila proclaimed many times in her last days, "I am a daughter of the Church". Do we too see ourselves as sons and daughters of the Church?
