Bottling at Brys Estate
Each winter from January to March a very important part of the winemaking process takes place in our cellar - bottling! Our Italian bottling line, when running, produces approximately 1,850 bottles of wine per hour — or a bottle every 2 seconds. New, empty bottles are loaded onto the belt, rinsed, and filled with wine. Then a natural cork seals the bottle and a foil capsule is applied to cover it. Lastly, the bottle is labeled and boxed for warehouse storage — or until it’s ready to be enjoyed. Bottling is a huge undertaking that is integral to everything we do as a winery.
