Maren Morris, Fancy Hagood, Joy Oladokun Share Support for Drag Performers at "Love Rising" Benefit
GLAAD was backstage "Love Rising," a benefit concert for Tennessee Equality Project, Inclusion Tennessee, Out Memphis, and the Tennessee Pride Chamber in partnership with Looking Out Foundation. The special concert happened at the Bridgestone Arena, in the wake of Tennessee legislation that is targeting the rights of gay and trans people generally and drag performers specifically.
Maren Morris, Fancy Hagood, Hayley Williams, Joy Oladokun and Izzy Heltai spoke with GLAAD about what is going on in Tennessee and shared support for our beloved drag queens who are currently under attack in the state and in many others.
