Louise Aigrain is a scientist working in a DNA sequencing lab at the Wellcome Sanger Institute. In this film she outlines all the steps involved in reading DNA, from receiving a sample to releasing the assembled data to scientists. She discusses how to working safely and efficiently in the lab as well as how to track samples and carry out quality control checks.
